REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

This policy applies to all bookings and payments made with Prakul Bakshi Events (“PBE”, “we”, “us”), a unit of Baxbro Entertainment Private Limited, through prakulbakshievents.in or any payment link we share. It covers artist bookings, event curation and event management services.

Bookings and payments

  • Submitting an enquiry on our website is free and does not create a booking.
  • A booking is confirmed only when we receive the advance payment of 50% of the agreed fee and send you a written booking confirmation.
  • The balance is payable 7 days before the event date, unless your booking confirmation states otherwise.
  • All amounts are in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
  • We provide services, not physical goods, so no shipping or delivery charges apply.

Cancellation by you

To cancel, email us at info@prakulbakshievents.com with your booking reference. The cancellation date is the date we receive your email. Refunds depend on how far ahead of the event you cancel:

Please Note: Costs we have already paid to third parties for your event, such as artist travel, accommodation, venue, production or vendor deposits, are deducted from any refund.

Rescheduling

  • You may move your event once, to a date within 6 months of the original date, subject to the artist's availability.
  • Amounts already paid are carried forward to the new date. Any price difference for the new date is payable or adjusted.
  • If the artist is not available on the new date, the cancellation table above applies.

Cancellation by us

  • If a booked artist cannot perform for reasons within our control, we will offer a replacement artist of similar standing. If you do not accept the replacement, we will refund 100% of the amount paid for that artist.
  • If we cancel the event for reasons within our control, we will refund 100% of the amount paid.

Events beyond anyone's control

If an event cannot take place because of natural disasters, government orders, public health restrictions, or other events beyond reasonable control, we will first offer to reschedule. If rescheduling is not possible, we will refund the amount paid, minus third-party costs already incurred.

What is not refundable

  • Services already delivered, in full or in part.
  • Costs already paid to third parties for your event, such as artist travel, accommodation, venue, production or vendor deposits.
  • A performance that is shortened or stopped because of the venue, local permissions, curfew rules, or the conduct of guests.
  • Changes to the event you request after confirmation, which are charged separately.
  • Payment gateway or bank charges.
  • Cancellations made less than 15 days before the event.

How to request a refund

Email info@prakulbakshievents.com from the email address used for your booking, or call +91 11 4158 1234. Include:

Your full name and booking reference
The event date and the amount paid
The reason for cancelling

We confirm the request and the refund amount by email within 3 working days.

Refund processing

Approved refunds are credited to the original payment method within 7–10 working days of approval. GST paid on the refunded amount is also refunded. For a failed or duplicate payment, the full amount is refunded to the original payment method within the same period. The time for the amount to reach your account depends on your bank or payment provider.

Chargebacks

Please contact us before raising a dispute or chargeback with your bank. Most issues can be resolved directly with us. If a chargeback is raised on a valid payment, the booking may be put on hold while it is reviewed.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The version in force on the date your booking was confirmed applies to that booking.
